Ground Zero Teen Center

Introducing ‘The Club’, Boys & Girls Clubs’ newest Teen Initiative.  This new initiative is a key part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s efforts to continue programming into the middle school ages.

Targeted specifically to young people, ages 13-16, the new brand speaks to middle school teens across the country as it provides programs for Homework assistance, Athletics, the Arts, Community Service, and Technology.  Using professionally trained Club staff, The Club, offers a safe, positive place for middle school kids to go after school.

Come see our new program, located at the Teen Center (located two doors north of the Main Club in downtown Bellevue)!

Programs Offered

Drop In

Facilities and Programs are always FREE. Ground Zero Teen Center is open to youth ages 13-19. We are committed to offering a SAFE and progressive space for all youth to play, create and express themselves. To enable this we simply ask that you sign-in at the front door when you drop by.

Concerts

Our concert series features the best local and touring bands almost every Friday and Saturday night. All shows start at 7pm and cost $6 or $5 with a can of food. If you would like to play in Ground Zero's Concert series please bring a demo to Band Pool on the first Tuesday of every month. If you have any questions or want to know who is playing next please email Malia at groundzerobooking@gmail.com.

Band Practice Space

We have a free practice room available for teen bands and musicians by appointment only. To request an appointment please email Malia at groundzerobooking@gmail.com. Did we mention that it is FREE?

Music Advisory

Every other Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm, beginning September 10th, Ground Zero hosts a Music Advisory Meeting. This is a place for interested teens to share new music, new show ideas and learn about their local music scene. This is a great way to get started volunteering at local shows and to network with other like-minded individuals. You will learn about promotion, recording, show staffing and be exposed to new local and non-local music. Internships are available. Please email Malia at groundzerobooking@gmail.com for more info.

Teen Feed

Hungry? Come and enjoy a free meal every Thursday at 6pm. We’ve got Pizza, Spaghetti Feeds, BBQ’s and much more! Vegetarian food is always available! For more information contact mbrzusek@bgcbellevue.org

GZ Concert Information
"Ground Zero hosts some of the best up-and-coming rock bands in a converted house across the street from Bellevue Square," says Seattle Times writer Tom Phalen. Using the old church auditorium, the teen center sets the stage for all bands nearly every weekend. The completely soundproof room with a state-of-the-art built-in sound system gives youth a safe place to hang out and hear great bands on Saturday nights.
